Bullitt ARS Provides Bus Ride From Louisville To Dayton
Once again, the Bullitt Amateur Radio Society is sponsoring a round trip bus
between Louisville and the Dayton Hamvention. This year the bus will run on
Saturday, May 15th. Admission to the Hamvention is not included. Seats are
$27 per person, the same as last year.
If you live in Louisville, this is a great, relaxing way to get to and from
the Hamvention. The bus parks near the flea market, so there is no long
hike to and from a parking place. That makes it easy to drop off your prizes
and purchases and get back to the event quickly and easily. The
air-conditioned bus offers a place to cool off and there is more than enough
room for large items. The driver stays with the bus, so security is not a
problem.
Reservations to reserve a seat should be made as soon as possible because
they usually go quickly. Contact Lowell Lanham, WD4ARR by email at
[email protected] or by phone at (502) 361-7678.
The bus will leave Saturday at 5:30am sharp. Boarding begins at 5am. The bus
will return early Saturday evening. The meeting location is in the Meijer
parking lot at 9500 Preston Hwy (Preston and the Gene Snyder Expressway).
