[KYHAM] ARES weekly Sunday Night Net

Greetings,

There will be a weekly ARES net beginning Sunday February 29, 2004 at 8:00PM
CST (02:00zulu) on 146.520 simplex. 

PLEASE check in and learn about how ARES has grown to be such a valuable
emergency communications avenue and public service resource. 

Each week there will be short information / training sessions to help ARES
members and other interested persons practice their emergency communications
skills. There are several exercises planned in the next few months and we
should prepare so we are able to exhibit the invaluable skills for which
ARES and Amateur Radio are known. It is important for us to be trained and
ready to respond to any incident.

This ARES net will be held immediately before the "SUNDAY NIGHT RAG CHEW &
TECH NET" hosted by Terry McCrarey, WB9KQF. His net is fun and very
informative with a great Rag Chew, Tech Notes, Computer Info,  FYI, PSAs, Q
& A, Ham Radio & computer fest info, Contest calendars, and much more. Terry
does a great job with his net! Check it out!
