I agree.  I'd suggest that you have a copy of your amateur 
license WITH a copy of the Ky Scanner Law 
http://www.kyham.net/docs/legal/scanner.pdf stapled to it in the 
glovebox of any vehicle you keep a transmitting radio in.

Could save a body a world of explaining if you ran across the 
wrong officer one day.
