I would like to say i am sorry that some on this list took my email wrong.
I have great respect for my friend Ward Silvers whom i have known for
years, and was just making fun of his book title. A Couple have taken it
wrong for that i am sorry. I have been told I am not positive about amateur
radio..
I disagree with this statement. I started SWLing at age 11 got my General
Ticket at age 15 . received my first Public Service Award at age 16 and a
National Merit Award a few years later . I set up the first VE testing
sessions in South Central KY and have taught over 50 class's for those who
wanted to learn theory and the code. I could go on but will not. So yes I
am positive for amateur radio. what i am not positive with is lowering the
standards for numbers sake. but this is not the place for such matters.
So if I upset you with the cross post I am sorry. I will refrain from doing
so any more
with best regards
Tony
