You might be receiving this message more than once it that important.

The following e-mail is being sent to you in an effort to develop a rapport
with the legislatures in Kentucky over the next eleven (11) months. There is
going to be a driven effort to get a proposed PRB-1 bill in the House of
Representatives for the 2004 session.

Fred Jones, WA4SWF Eastern ASM and I had a meeting with House of
Representative of Kentucky Tom McKee (D) and House of Representative of
Kentucky Rocky Adkins (D) on taking steps to introduce a bill into the House
next year protecting amateur radio antennas by using PRB-1 as the substance
of the bill. The work will now be up to the hams in Kentucky to contact heir
state legislature and make their voices heard. We have a year to work on
this and need as many of them as possible contacted. You may find your
Representative by using the following URL
http://www.lrc.state.ky.us/whoswho/hsedist.htm. They will be listed by
district on the left side of the page and by county on the right side. Make
that call or e-mail and invite them to a club meeting or just a meeting with
you and discuss this issue.

The introductory package is available for your clubs/associations to use,
please contact me either by e-mail address of
[email protected] or by phone 859-472-6690 and I'll forward you the packet.
Please make copies and use them as needed. We only hope that the membership
feels the need for this bill and will act accordingly. Your call and contact
to the legislatures are of vital importance to this becoming reality.
