I just received the following from Fred, WA4SWF:

To all radio amateurs:
 
Jerry Caudill K4GEC became a silent key Tuesday.  He will be
open at Steen Funeral Home in
Ashland on Thursday night starting at 7:00 p.m. The funeral
will be Friday at 1:00 p.m.  Jerry will
really be missed by all of us.  I am sending flowers in the
name of the Big Sandy Amateur Radio.

Jerry was an active and hard working participant in the
local ARES activities in Area 9 for decades.  I was honored
to have been the one to recognize his efforts before his
peers at the Louisa hamfest just a few years ago.  Jerry was
an outstanding amateur and will be sorely missed by us all
in the ARES program of Ky.
