To all of you who have complimented the article in QST this month....Thank 
you...

I would like to temper that I just reported a story that deserved to be 
reported.  To use a term that has come into vogue in recent weeks, I was 
"embedded" for the story.  There were 38 hams who worked very hard to serve 
the community of Lexington.

Thanks again to everyone who has complimented the article, and I want to 
transfer the praise to those who worked so hard in the operation, and truly 
made a difference for the citizens of Lexington during a very bad 8 
days.  Their efforts gave me something to write about, and made the article 
very easy to write.
