9/10/02...One year ago tonight, we had no idea that the
lives of all Americans and yes even the rest of the citizens
of the world were about to be changed forever by the actions
of a few misguided individuals acting on behalf of a man
with an agenda.

09/11/02.. One year ago today we saw, to paraphrase Charles
Dickens, "The worst of times and then, the best of times".
When the planes struck their targets that terrible day, most
of the world held its breath.  In the moments that followed
we saw what was and IS still great about America since this
nation began 226 years ago.  There was no me or you, only
US.  We stood together and did what this small, twisted
organization had not anticipated - WE PERSEVERED!  They
accomplished the exact opposite of what they had planned.
Their action to bring us to our kness, brought us in reality
to our feet with a dogged determination to overcome.

The Ky Amateur Radio Web Site tonight and tomorrow offers a
small tribute to those who lived through the day and to
those who died that day in all three locations.

Let us never forget what happened that day and resolve to be
always prepared in the future to use amateur radio to
support our state and country when needed.
