Attached is a FLASH FLOOD WATCH for a good portion of Ky and
southern Indiana. Some areas are already experiencing
flooding situations.  Be careful in driving and remember to
NEVER drive through a flooded roadway!

The NWS in Louisville has issued a flood watch for late
tonight through
early Wednesday morning for the following Counties, In south
central
indiana, Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison,
Jefferson, Orange, Perry,
Scott, And Washington. In central kentucky, Adair, Allen,
Anderson, Barren,
Bourbon, Boyle, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Casey, Clark,
Clinton,
Cumberland, Edmonson, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Grayson,
Green, Hancock,
Hardin, Harrison, Hart, Henry, Jefferson, Jessamine, Larue,
Lincoln, Logan,
Madison, Marion, Meade, Mercer, Metcalfe, Monroe, Nelson,
Nicholas, Ohio,
Oldham, Russell, Scott, Shelby, Simpson, Spencer, Taylor,
Trimble, Warren,
Washington, And woodford. Persistent moist flow and lift
along and north of
a warm front will result in periods of heavy rainfall across
much of south
central indiana and central kentucky late tonight through
Wednesday morning.
Widespread precipitation amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
likely, With local
rainfall totals of 3 to !
4 inches. Most of south central indiana and central kentucky
had substantial
Rain this past weekend, And The Ground is nearly saturated.
If Heavy rain
materializes as expected, Much Of It may quickly run off
Into area creeks,
Streams And Rivers. The threat of flooding will increase
early Tuesday
morning and continue through Wednesday morning. A flood
watch means that
flooding of small streams, Creeks And Other drainage areas
is possible
within the watch area. Remember, A watch means that flooding
is possible but
