The Newcomer's/Trader's Net meets every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM EST =
on 146.76 minus. This repeater is located in Lexington KY. The range is =
approximately 40 to 50 miles. The purpose is to make available items for =
sale, trade or give-away, amateur and related equipment. It is a =
directed net and all stations are welcomed to participate. Besides items =
for sale/trade, stations may also ask questions concerning ham radio, =
make announcements or just check in. =20

The Bluegrass Amateur Radio Society BARS will hold it's annual Hamfest =
on Sunday 4 August 2002. This year the club will sponser the ARRL =
Kentucky Convention. A banquet is planned the Saturday evening before =
the hamfest at the Holiday Inn at Newtown Road and I-64/75. Details will =
