Dear friends and family of Arlon Click. Although many of you may have =
already=20
been notified, I found this was the easiest way to make sure we notify=20
everyone.

I'm afraid we lost Arlon yesterday morning, Christmas Eve, at St. Joseph =

hospital in Lexington.  As many of you already knew, Arlon was diagnosed =
with=20
lung cancer, had surgery for that in March, and was doing well until =
about 2=20
months ago, when it was discovered that the cancer had metastasized to =
his=20
liver.  Like the trooper that he was, Arlon faced it head-on and fought =
right=20
up to the end, but also knew and had accepted the fact that he might be =
going=20
home.  Although he endured quite a lot of pain towards the end of his =
life,=20
he died peacefully in his sleep.  Exactly as he would have wanted.

Arlon will be terribly missed by all of us, but we realize that he was =
only=20
on loan to us and the Lord had new plans for him.  One of the things =
that=20
makes it easier to bear, is the fact that several months before he died, =

Arlon and my mother were baptized in the Lexington Primitive Baptist =
Church. =20
They had been attending for some time, but made the decision to be =
baptized=20
even before his illness. =20

For those of you who may want to attend services, they will be held on=20
Friday, Dec. 27, at 2:00 PM at Betts and West Funeral Home on N. Main =
Street=20
here in Nicholasville.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the=20
funeral home and his burial will be at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.

On behalf of my mother and sisters, we would like to thank of you who =
have=20
sent cards or called and those of you who were such good internet =
friends.  I=20
have no idea who most of you are, but I know all of you were so =
important to=20
him.
