[KL7AA] Scouting Jamboree on the Air is here

Today KL7AA begins its annual participation in the World Jamboree.  This is part
our KL7AAs Educational and Youth outreach mission. 

I ask for your participation.

Saturday, pass the torch onto the next generation.  For those attending Monthly
Friday club meetings, apologies for being redundant or for missing a traditional
or customary step in protocol.

Today to Sunday, you may participate from any rig anywhere.  Prime time is
tomorrow at the Rowan Club house where we ask for your attendance.  If you can
run a club rig, swap stories or otherwise engage the kids, please arrive NLT 9am
for short briefing.  All operators, here are the details.

We'll have the Cub Scouts (7 to 11 year olds) at the Rowan street KL7AA
Clubhouse from 10 am.  Cub Adult leaders will provide control and organization
of the boys. 

There is an internet component to the event these days.   If you have loaner
laptop(s) please bring them.  We'll load download and install Team Speak and IRC
software.  If you have the ability to help connect them up to the club house
internet, please do so or advise me on the hardline/wifi credentials.

Think of it as a 120 minute rapid-fire short open house / field day / pep rally.
