Ok for those yet unaware. The 443.9 repeater on Grubstake has had some
form of failure. So it's down for the next week anyway. A flight may
be going up next week and the plan is to just turn on the back up UHF
that is in that package. We it was first installed the backup repeater
on UHF was found to have an issue so it was simply powered off. It
worked it was just keying when the primary keyed.

So the quick fix is to simply turn on the back up change the switch to
put it inline and all will be good again.

This of course assuming that is the actual problem. Won't know for sure
until a tech in on the mountain.

The 147.33 VHF side is still 100% solid with good coverage.

Also the 444.7 UHF Repeater in South Anchorage is back up, still needs a
few tweaks but otherwise is working well. Thanks to Dave Heimke and his
team for getting that repeater back up on the air.

As always if you discover a problem with an area repeater let the AARC
Board know. If its not one of ours we will get in touch with the owner
for you. Please note the date/time of the problem to help troubleshoot
the problem.
