[KL7AA] The February Monthly Meeting is this coming Friday

Mike, KL6M will present a 'sequel' to the moonbounce briefing given to the
club a couple years ago.  Then it was about the construction and operation
of the 30 foot dish for Earth Moon Earth communications.  This time the
story is about a 106 mph wind that knocked this monster array down, and the
challenge of repairing it.

Even though it is still winter, the increasing daylight hints at the coming
summer months.  With that is our series of community events where a group of
amateurs practice their skills while supporting communications for various
bicycle rides and medium and long distance runs.  Start thinking about which
ones you may enjoy assisting with.

 

This year the club will also have Field Day events, the weekend of June 27
and 28.  More information on that will be coming soon.
