As of this morning the 146.33 and 443.900 repeater on Grubstake were
replaced. It went live about 9am. On air testing shows it to be
working well.

The new Grubstake system is in effect the package that we used to have
on Mount Susitna. Re-branded for use as the .33 replacement system.

This VHF and UHF package is make from Kenwood Repeaters and is a
completely backed up repeater system. So if the primary side fails the
secondary can be switched in remotely.

POC for any problems with the repeater is the Anchorage Amateur Radio
Club, KL7CC Jim Wiley or even myself.

This will not be what Susitna was, just accept that. But it is a good
location and has a nice footprint for most of the area. There will be a
few dead zones just like any repeater has. If you would take note of
where you are unable to raise either the VHF or the UHF side and pass
that info to me. I don't expect we can fix the dead zones since that
will be an issue with topography. But we can map those areas and see
if another solution is needed.

There are a few minor hardware issues yet to be cleared up but those do
not effect the operational status of the repeater.

Setup into-
This repeater is open for use by all Amateurs.

VHF 146.33 + Spilt 103.5 PL Tone
UHF 443.900 + Spilt 103.5 PL Tone
