[KL7AA] KL7PG Harold W. "Sparks" Hitchen, silent key

It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Harold W."Sparks" Hitchen, KL7PG.  He was 89 years old.  He died in Palmer last night (Saaturday 27 August 2005) after a massive heart attack.  Sparks had enjoyed being an Amateur Radio Operator for more than fifty years.  He was a member of Quarter Century Wireless Association, and had been active in the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club for many years.  Services are pending.
