FIELD DAY 2004

When: June 26 - 27, 2004

Where: Kincaid Park, Anchorage, Alaska

The Anchorage ARES District 7, the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club, KL7AA
and the South Central Amateur Radio Club, KL7G, would like to invite
you to join us for FIELD DAY 2004.  Field Day is when amateur
operators all over the world try to compete for points and operate
as many stations as possible in a 24 hour time period.  This year
our goals are to get as many points as possible and to have fun.

We will be operating 5 stations to provide the opportunity for all amateurs no 
matter what skill level to participate.

   * Satellite Station
   * CW
   * GOTA (Get on the Air) Good for beginning Hams and those
      wanting to learn more about Amateur Radio
   * DIGITAL (PSK31 and Packet)

If you know of individuals who have wanted to learn about Amateur
Radio, this is a great opportunity to bring them out and allow
them the opportunity to operate the radio and have a great time.
Participants will receive a Field Day 2004 pin.  Meals will be
provided and participants are asked to bring a side dish or desert
for our Saturday Dinner BBQ.

We will be rolling out at 0800 (8AM) on Saturday morning to the
location with the goal of being on the air at 1000 (10AM) and
fully operational by 1200 (Noon).

Driving and Co-ordination will be: 146.970 (-) 103.5
