Rick and Micheal, thanks for the info. I am connecting the signal to the ACC 2 input on the rear of the TS 2000.  I don't know if the audio gain control on the front of the TS 2000 controls the amount of audio to the Signal Link or not. That is what is confusing to me among other things because I don't know if the front audio gain is bypassed or not. Being 78 years old and not very computer literate is really a drawback. My problem is that "this ain't 1958 radio" the year I was licensed. Old dog, new tricks makes old dog confused. I guess I need to hear from  TS 2000 owners using the Signal Link. I think I am going to use FLdigi, if I ever get it downloaded to my Laptop with Windows 7. I really  appreciate the input and guidance. 73, John, K5PGW
