[Kenwood] DIGI on TM-710

I am missing something about getting digi to work on my 710.  I thought I
had it working during an event we have each year but maybe not.  Anyway it
isn't working now and I don't know what I am missing.  

 

Somebody?  What are the things that need to be set and what are things that
would prevent it working?

 

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated (except "sell my 710" hi hi).
