[Kenwood] TS-430S Xverter Connector.

Joe: Both connectors are "standard" but one is much more popular than the
other. One is the SGR-80 style, also known as the Horseshoe connector, and
the other is the SGR-81 style. Not sure which is the Kenwood, but I believe
it is the Horseshoe style. The main difference is the outer pins on the
horseshoe style are shaped in a horseshoe pattern, particularly the last
two by the key/notch, as opposed to a circular pattern. I speculate that
the reason for the horseshoe connector is to leave more space by the keyway
 for a switch that gets activated when the connector is inserted. My
TS-830s has such a switch as part of the chassis connector. --73, Mike,
