I think there is a pot inside for power, but that does not seem what you are
looking for. You may need to just us MIC gain to set your power out. You
also could add an ALC voltage that sets the power level you want and switch
it in/out as needed.

Subject: [Kenwood] TS930 RF mod watts out variable 1 to 100 ?

Does anyone know if there is a mod to change the output power to a range
from 1 to 100 watts. There was a mod for my TS440 and I did that and the
TS940 had that capability built into the rig. With the TS930 using SSB, it
only puts out full power at 100 watts. Would like the rig in SSB mode to go
as low as 5 watts.

Thank you in advance.
