Correct.....When using the amp, leave the tuner turned off. The rig is
looking into the amp's tuned input.
Now, for the amp.....
How bad is your match?
The amp has a "for real" pi network, so it can handle some mismatch.
Either the amp can handle it, or you need another antenna.
If you want to incorporate a tuner...put it between the antenna and the
amp.
Make sure it can handle the amp's output, so nothing MFJ in this case.
