Hi Joe,

After buying a genuine Kenwood filter for my TS850, I recommend buying one that has the InRad name on it instead.  The InRad filters tend to have steeper skirts and better ultimate rejection figures.  Choose a wide filter for ragchewing; a narrow filter for contesting. InRad (http://www.inrad.net/home.php?cat=45) has both available for your TS430S.
