Look on the rear apron of the TS-930.

There is an RCA Phono jack labeled IF.  That has it already brought out 
for use with the Kenwood SM-220 and BS-8.  That IS the 8.83Mc IF tapped 
already for panadapter purposes.

There is no reason to poke around inside to get what you are looking for.
