[Kenwood] Kenwood TR-9130 Display shows all 8's

Guys:

I powered on my '9130 after it had been sitting for a couple years and 
the display shows all 8's. No matter what you do with the front panel, 
memory mode, turning the main VFO knob, always 8's all the time...

Is this a common problem with an older rig like the 9130? Any quick 
fixes; dried electrolytics, PLL unlock?
