[Kenwood] Stinky TS-850

Hello,
I have a faithful TS-850S-AT I bought 19 years ago, and it has served me well 
except for a leaky lytic that trashed my display power 
trace (fixed) and a battery replacement.  Over the past year, when I turn it on, 
a strong amine-type fishy smell emits from it (definitely coming from the 850).  
Has anyone else had this, and could it again be a blown capacitor?
