OK.

Now, the 400 Hz CW filter works as it should, and the rig works fine on SSB.

Still no sidetone, and it won't key with the CW key.

I have not yet tested the VOX, but it doesn't look like it is working yet either. When I first turn 
the rig on, the VOX appears to kick on a couple of times, and I heard what I think is the 
sidetone a couple of times, but it doesn't stay working.

The rig appearsto be tuning up just fine, digital readout no longer jittery, and it seems to be 
calibrated properly now.

Function switch obviously needs cleaning since getting the calibrator to work is not too easy. 
Gotta get the switch in just the right position.

Mode switch may need to be operated on too.

Bandswitch all works just fine.
