[Kenwood] TS430 reliability

Hi Clif,

I realized during Monday Night Football tonight when they were discussing 
London Fletcher's career that I was 10 years off.  If only I was 35 again 
instead of 45 HI HI.

What happens when the battery fails?  Will it still store frequencies as 
long as it is hooked to a PS that is left on?
