[Kenwood] MC-50 questions

I apologize if you are seeing this for the second time today.  I had incoming 
mail from the Kenwood list disabled when I first sent it so I don't know if it 
went out then or not.  Anyway...... 




I have an MC-50 microphone (without a base) that has an intermittent On/Off 
switch.

1.  Is this common?
2.  How do you dismantle the microphone to get to the switch?

This microphone looks like it's new so I don't want to mar it up trying to fix 
it.  I thought a little Deoxit might fix the problem.
