The DRU-2 in my TS-850 was playing up so I replaced the dead battery.The old battery had an insulating fabric material attached to it and the IC beneath it. Does anyone know if this was a thermal bond so the battery acted as a heatsink or whether it is fine just to replace the battery with it just touching the IC? 73 Brian G0UKB
