Yes, I was over complicating thinking there might be an attenuator that needed
to be replaced. The manual makes it clear one only had to remove a jumper to fit
the filter, so one would only need to put the jumper back if removing it.
The filter should have an input pin, and output pin and a common (earth) point.
Just solder a wire so the places where the input and output pins were located
are just jumpered.
