[Kenwood] TS 850 issues

I am having an issue when I run my processor. When I turn it on, I cannot
get the proper levels set. I almost have to turn the controls to max and
then it is still not correct. After awhile, the levels sets are all good and
I can get the proper levels. BUT, later it seems that it goes all away for
awhile . So, it goes back and forth.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?
