[Kenwood] (no subject)

Last night my 940 was humming right along working perfect.  All of a sudden it died.  Died as in no power
whatsoever.  I have checked all the usual stuff outside of the radio, fuses, power, etc.  I haven't opened 
it up yet.  Is there another fuse inside?  Anyone have any ideas before I dig into the guts?  I am electronic
savvy so I'm not afraid to dig for a bit just thought someone had seen a similar problem and I could save
a few troubleshooting steps.  The fact I am 73 and not to steady with a soldering iron doesn't help either.
