[Kenwood] TS-180S Mystery

I spent some time last night with the radio and found that she will not
transmit at all.
Something tells me that she needs to be sent somewhere to be repaired and
have a general tune up. I scanned the EBay pages for like radios however I
think it may be cheaper to repair this unit than buy a used one.

Who is the reliable repair shop, has anyone had good luck with a particular
shop?
