[Kenwood] Display gone on my 850

[Ed Swiderski, KU4BP]

I found the cap in the drawings that all of you mentioned. Haven't opened up
the radio yet to see exactly where it is and what happened but I expect to
so after the weekend. Fortunately, I have a backup 440 to use so the fix is
in no hurry. Just wish it could've waited until after the WPX contest this
weekend.

Same thing happened to mine about 5 years ago.  Just be careful
installing  the jumper and new lytic.  Mine still works great (knock on
wood, or knock on kenwood) Mark N5KAE
