Sharon,

What high is the swr in the freq. you want to auto tune? Wich antenna are
you using?.

Sometimes it happens to me, after checking the carrier knob position as
Steef told to you, you can start in a frequency of the band where the
antenna have less swr, then moving in steps of 50-100 khz and doing auto
tune till you arrive at the frequency you want.

Be sure that the carrier knob position is at least 5 or it will not tune.
