Ok, my down and dirty method.
Mode SSB, Meter IP, Key and set bias to 60ma (not necessary every time)
Mode Tune
Meter ALC
Car halfway
Key and peak using drive control, if offscale reduce Car, if not onscale
increase UNKEY
Meter IP
Plate Control in the marked range for the band
Load Control counterclockwise
Key and dip plate current (IP) using Plate Control UNKEY (Don't try to be
exact, just close)
Mode CW
Key and increase IP to abt 200 using Load, rapidly dip again using Plate
UNKEY
Repeat
Meter RF
Key and in small increments adjust Load and then Plate for max, go back and
forth several times ending with Load. Do it RAPIDLY UNKEY
