[Kenwood] wider transmit SSB audio TS 480

Meir,

The guy asked if there is a way to open up his 480.  If there isn't,  
why not tell him that, or do you not know.  He didn't ask for a  
lecture on tx bandwidth; he asked how to open up his rig.

Why not peddle your bandwidth lecture to all these manufacturers  
making rigs that tx out of the box 5 KHz or more?    The truth is that  
wide response sounds good.  Excuse me while I enjoy my hobby with  
something other than space shuttle quality audio, which if I wanted,  
would make me an Icom owner.

Joe, if there's no way to open up the 480 on tx you may have to get  
another rig.   A used TS870 would be a good choice provided it is in  
decent shape.   Search the ssbaudio yahoo group archive or the mods.dk  
website to see if there is anything there.
