[Kenwood] Using TS870SAT with Collins 30L-1

Yes, the Collins 30L1 does INDEED use a 120V antenna relay.

A lot of the newer solid state radios will NOT tolerate this high of a 
voltage to switch through their "din" plug.

In that instance, switching a 12VDC external relay to switch the 
amplifier is rather a requirement, unless you want to repetitively 
repair your radio.

Optionally, the amplifier "could" be modified to use a 12VDC antenna relay.
