[Kenwood] How to connect TS2000 to check Airmail by HF

I am using Airmail and it operates fine using the Telnet (internet) to check
mail. I am trying to operate Airmail via HF. I am new at this so I might not
fully understand how this all works but here is what I have.



I have a TS2000 that has a built in TNC. I have my laptop computer connected
to TS2000 using the serial port. I don’t have any other equipment connected,
except auto tuner.



The Airmail instructions refer to an external TNC. I don’t know what the
Modem (TNC) connection or the Radio Connection (optional) should be set at.
The Modem (TNC) connection does not have an option for built in TNC so I
don’t know which one to choose.


Do I need to purchase another piece of equipment or can my TS2000 operate
Airmail on HF with what I have so far?
