Hello folks, this is my first time here; I hope I'm asking in the right
place.

I recently acquired a TS-820S that does not do much more than hiss. I'm
told that I need to jumper a couple pins on the external VFO socket to make
it work. I'm trying to run it without the external VFO. Can anyone tell me
if this is so, and which pins to short together.

Thank you.
