I have a TS-430S
But it's got a quirk.
When you listen to a dead band. So you just hear background hiss.
When you switch from USB to LSB or visa versa, USB and CW are the
same, do not have the narrow CW filter.
Anyway, the hiss has a very definate different tone to ut.
On LSB it's mostly comprised of low hiss tones. where on USB they are
a higher set of tones.
In my old Drake TR-4 this was a simple fix to balance them out. is it
also simple on this rig?
It's like the passbands are slid over some.
