[Kenwood] TS-480 extended transmit?

Has anyone enabled extended transmit for the TS-480 
below 1.7 Mhz?

If so, how?

I do not mean that mod that is presently available to enable 
the rig to transmit from around 1.7 Mhz through 60 Mhz., or 
the so-called MARS mod.

I mean down to 100 Khz. or about the same range as the 
receiver covers.

I am asking for some folks who belong to an LF 
experimenters group which has a license to operate in the 
old 600 meter Marine Band and would like to use that rig 
there.
