[Kenwood] IF-10B versus Piexx Board Performance Question

I have a question primarily directed at those who have an installed IF-10B
board and IF-232C interface in a TS-940S.

The question is for the above arrangement does the frequency display flicker
as the radio is interrogated from the software?

With the Piexx board, the display does flicker which is a common report from
other stations. I'm told the reason is that he old microprocessor in the
TS-940S is a bit slow, so if you interrogate the radio fast and often the
display will do the flickering thing. The fix is easy, just locate the place
in the PC software that sets the rate of radio interrogation, then make it
longer with 500 ms or greater being suggested.

While this does reduce the rate of flicker it is still there. So to satisfy
my compulsive curiosity, I would be interested to hear if the "factory
system" performs the same way.

The flicker occurs regardless of software used, in my case Ham Radio Deluxe
or TRX Manager which both do what they are supposed to but with the flicker
as the radio is interrogated.
