[Kenwood] TS850 and SB200

I ran my TS-850S/AT with a SB200 for many years without any problem at all.  After all, Kenwood was selling the TL-922A at the time and the 850 relay had to work with that.

Now saying all that, It is better to have something between the rig and amp.  I also did not like the noise of the 850 amp keying relay.  After all, it does have a on/off switch.

I went into the assc. socket and used +12 on transmit to key a transistor that then keyed the amp.  only problem by this time I had a Drake L7 Amp.  The L7 is positive keying and the SB200 is negative keying.
