[Kenwood] Kenwood tr 7950 display

Thanks Brian,David and Tom for the tips, I took it apart this morning, 
checked the internal battery 3.1 vdc, checked all the connectors, all seemed 
ok , but the display was still scrambled. Then  checked, powered up and 
found when, I applied finger pressure , to the entired ribbon cable , on the 
back of the display board, the correct readout appeared. It seems like the 
ribbon cable has become seperated from the small display circuit board. It 
appears to be tacked on to the board, so I'm not sure how to repair it? Any 
idea's ?
