[Kenwood] 940S FYI Vox info

Didn't get any replies from my vox troubles so I got busy. FYI if your have a TS-940S & even maybe more kenwoods that have a mic with a 500/50k imp switch like a MC-60 or MC-60A. The manual doesn't tell you the details of setting the VOX so it works right. Here's what fixed mine. Pull all 3 slide pots down, switch the mic to 50K & on the bottom of the mic set the switch to the (in) setting. Now you can set the Vox slides to suit yourself but make very small changes because the slide pots are very unforgivening. Also if you have your mic gain up to high you my have some troubles so try to stay in the ALC.
