Due to an ebay buyer backing out and some other activities, I have the
following Kenwood gear the needs a new home. The equipment consists of
spares and items I bought for a grand daughter that was studying for
her ticket. That's all changed now so that's for sale. Also have a
receiver that was my sons that we swapped for something else he
"really" needed. So, offers will be considered, no trades please, I
need room not more equipment. Prices are all PLUS shipping from 46835
unless otherwise stated.
Kenwood R-599S receiver. Good condition. Cabinet has some marks and a
long rub from something being slid over it on the top (8 out of 10) but
no dings or dents. Front panel is nice (9 out of 10). Main tuning knob
has a 1/4" ding .. looks like it may have been dropped during removal
at sometime? All the knobs are original. The receiver operates on 160,
80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters plus WWV on 10 MHz. There are also 5 AUX
crystal positions for fixed crystal use. Filters in the radio are CW,
SSB and AM. Includes the original manual. $175 shipped in the CONUS
Kenwood S-599 Speaker. Silver face to match the A model twins.
Excellent physical and cosmetic condition. $55 plus Priority mail cost.
Kenwood T-599D Transmitter. Very good condition. Cabinet and face are
8.5 to 9 out of 10. The transceive connector on the back panel is
chipped on the upper right corner but this does not affect operation in
any way ... transceive works fine (That I did test!). I've not done any
restoration or repair on the transmitter except to check that all
controls work and that there is power out on all bands. The radio has
been sitting for 6 months so I suspect it will need some tweaking to
bring it up to snuff. Comes with an original manual that's in good
condition, a spare driver transistor and the hard to find transceive
cable. $200 plus $30 shipping (34# Box) in the CONUS
Kenwood R-599D Receiver. Very good condition. Cabinet and face are 8.5
to 9 out of 10. The receiver has the 144mHz converter installed.
Reception on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters plus WWV on 10mHz plus 5
auz crystal positions for fixed crystal use and 144mHz through the
converter. Filters in the radio are CW, SSB,and AM. I have an excellent
R-599A manual copy with it (there is no discernable difference between
the A and D receivers except for front panel and knob color). $175 plus
$24 shipping (23# box) in the CONUS
Kenwood MC-50 Mic in good shape. Has an adhesive foot on one corner in
place of the screw on foot. Working condition and cosmetics are 8 out
of 10 with yellowing of the PTT and Lock levers plus some wear from use
over the years. $70 plus Priority mail cost.
I have digital pictures for interested buyers. Please note that I'm
selling this stuff as is and where is and the descriptions are as
honest as I can make 'em.
Thanks
73, Mike W9MWS
