[Kenwood] TS-850 Repair

I just recently joined the Yahoo Group. I first heard about Clif
Holland, KA5IPF, of AVVid, on the City of Tempe Listserver. Some of you
already know Clif's excellent reputation for Kenwood repair. I want to
(belatedly, by about two weeks) let all know that I recently heeded
previously circulated suggestions on that listserver that Clif is the
guy to go to if you have a problem with your Kenwood gear. 

Beginning with my initial e-mail contact with Clif, I received
unexpected *rapid* responses to my inquiries, quick turnaround on the
repairs, explanations of what was replaced, return of the defective
components and a fairness in component and service-time costs that I
thought had disappeared with the honesty of Abe Lincoln.
