Hello John

The QST/ARRL review for the TS-930 was at January 1984 and for the FT-767GX
at September 1987 (TS-440S is December 1986). www.rigpix.com manufacturing
date TS-930 1982-19xx and FT-767 1986-19xx (TS-440 1986-19xx).

For that I think you are right. The TS-930 was first.

Maybe someone on the list can answer a question for me. I was on the
Yahoogroups.com page looking for Yaesu groups today, and found one for the
FT767. The homepage for the list said that it was the first amateur rig
with a built in autotuner. Is that correct? I didn't think it was, I
though the first rig with a built in autotuner was the Kenwood TS930SAT.

Can anyone clear this up for me? And what is the FT767 like? One of my
friends just picked one up.

73s John W5TD
